Just finished watching Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled from Heaven

This movie....I...I...I dont even know...

This movie made me think about alot of things...it touched my heart...

This movie is not for the faint of heart. If you watch this you WILL feel something. And you WILL be moved.

This movie is a BEAUTIFUL work of art, Directed by the same man who did Psycho Pass, Aldnoah Zero + Fate Zero...

The Animation is SUPERB, Story is beathtaking and Deep, Voice actors are INCREDIBLE (I mean cmon, The main is Voiced by Rie Kugimiya), and the music is AMAZING.

If you watch this, it will change your thinking on some things and leave an impact on you.

WARNING!: SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!

~Animation 10/10
The animation is INCREDIBLE. I Expected no less from Gen Urobuchi, the same man who directed Fate Zero + Aldnoah:Zero. Action scenes are fast paced with alot of attention to detail and even the relaxing scenes leave you stunned with BREATHTAKING Visuals as you look at the characters expressions and their surroundings. The designs of the environments + Creatures + Technology mentioned are amazing. Everything is smooth, from the movements to the lip syncing to the Eyes.

~Music 10/10
Music is WONDERFUL. The Soundtrack i give a 10/10. The music composed fits extremely well with each scene and the theme song was so good i downloaded it and have it playing right now. Each moment has you on the edge of your seat wondering how that scene is gonna end and the music makes it even more intense.

~Story 9/10
The story is set in a Post-Apocalyptic Earth, and about a girl named Angela who was born and raised in a Matrix-like computer name DEVA, where people's personalities are linked to a mainframe and everyone lives in a Virtual Reality up in Space on a giant Ship. She was raised thinking they were evolved humans and that they experienced more pleasure and luxury then other humans down on Earth. 1 day they get attacked by a hacker named Frontier Setter and as a member of the Security Team, she is sent down to earth in a cloned body in order to find Frontier Setter. There she meets the other protagonist, Dingo, a resident of earth, and her partner/guide. The anime leads you right off into action and doesn't waste any time showing off its beautiful animation. At first they are distant and she is cold towards him, but she warms up to him and they grow closer as she gets used to having a real body. Back in her virtual world they never grew hungry, or tired and never got sick. So it was all new to her. Then they meet Frontier Setter, which happens to actually be a AI that became self-aware and is inheriting a mission to lead humanity into the outer reaches of space in order to find and inhabit a new planet. His "Hack" attempts, are just him trying to convince the residents on DEVA to voluntarily go with him on his ship, Genesis Ark.. They realize the AI is peaceful and means no harm. Angela starts to see the errors of the "perfect" society she clinged so hard to as Dingo reveals his and everyone else who lives on Earths thoughts on it. As it turns out, Frontier Setter has been working on his plan for over 100 years. It had started over 100 years ago, when the Leaders of the world gathered together and proposed this plan but quickly it was abandoned due to a lack of agreement. Thus it was done in secret.

When she finally returns to DEVA and reports what happened, thinking her mission is complete as she convinced Frontier Setter to cease his hacking and contact DEVA directly and bring forth his proposal. But they re-direct her and tell her to go back and destroy him, she refuses and stands up for him. They brand her a traitor and sentence her to life imprisonment in an isolated world in DEVA, with no way out. Frontier Setter and Dingo free her and she gets a brand new Unit that they steal from DEVA. She then fights off the 100+ Mecha Units that are heading towards Frontier Setter and Dingo. She then must defend them until Frontier Setter finishes his Rocket and blasts off to link up with Genesis Ark, the Ship that will lead humanity to a new planet.

The action scenes in this part of the movie are breathtaking, as she takes on 5 units at a time, with 20 difrerent pods that had landed with her new unit, full of weapons for said Unit. She constantly rushes towards the Pods and fights off the horde of enemies using different weapons. However its not your typical "Overpowered new Mech destroys everything". No, she is constantly on equal ground with each unit and gets hit constantly, she even ends up with her mech almost destroyed with over 50 units still remaining. The rocket winds up launching but Frontier is all alone, as no one goes with him. Angela and Dingo both say they have to stay on Earth, abeit for different reasons, they still travel together. Expelled from Paradise, she now lives on Earth with Dingo, in her Heavy body inhaling dirty Air and in a Barren Desert, but she has no regrets.

~Overall Verdit: 9/10
If i could id rate it 10/10 however i dont feel any movie deserves a 10/10 because thats saying its perfect. No movie is perfect. The movie can feel slow at times but thats just because it wants you to see what the main is experiencing, all the things she's taking in and learning. The thing i deducted 1 point for was that the other Girls didn't get enough screentime. I would have liked to know more about them. I also expected an ending and it didn't happen, yes thats a good thing because it went beyond what i predicted, however the ending i wanted would have been great and made sense. Im not complaining, the ending was GREAT. But id love to see what it would of been like with the ending I wanted.
