which is the better?

here's the thing, i got started into coloring about a week ago, i'm really new to this, which is better result?
one is more animeish, the other is my own custom effect...not sure if like it or not =="

and the results:

i leik the 2nd one's shirt/pants etc but the lightning effect and the blue smudge's by the feet kill the image.

like some one drew on some cover of a manga with MS paint

overall, 2nd ones better

For me, 2nd looks better. Nice !

I like the 1st one. it's much cleaner and simpler compared to the 2nd one.

it needs to be like the first one, but with the 2nd one's shader. thats my take on it

Second one has more of a classic Nostalgic anime feel, Like Shonen Jump comic nostalgic.
I say go for 2.

mmmh, ok, thanks for the feed back guys, it was hard making an idea for myself when its my own stuff

i'll stick with both, as i think one is more suited for illustration (2nd) and the 1st is more suited for color pages/1st pages of comics... thanks :D
