Compability settings for Ultimate Knight Windom XP

1) This is not a vote hting. unless you're a bot really does no good here :/
2) Check your compatibility settings on the game itself and be sure you have direct X installed and proper registries.

I don't think the poster intended for it to be a vote. It's just that when they tried to create this topic that was probably the only option given to them.

I too have upgraded to Windows 8.1 with a new laptop and using the new Daemons tool 4.48.1 I think?

I can mount the game ISO and install it and the game starts. But when I try to mount the PUK ISO that came with the installer package to get the combined new ISO image I get no joy.

This is frustrating since UKWXP 1.000 looks excellent using a i5 processor and dedicated HD graphics card.

But I'm a couple of steps short of getting the PUK 2.004 and the mods that use it to work.

It's advised to use Daemons tool 4.30. But with 64bit system I get nothing but conflicts even in compatibility mode. Keeps asking to reboot the system even after rebooting.

Anyone with experience on how to get the PUK to work or success using the ISO installation method on windows 8 or 8.1 please advise.

Having a boosted system and not being able to truly see how awesome UKWXP+mods looks and plays on it has me pulling my digital hair.

Ahhhh. Poster did not go into editor mode that's why they ended up using the poll option.
