i am loving my shield tablet. tested gvgnp and runs full speed but sound is horrible. the sound is so horrible it makes the the game look like its lagging when its not. this issue could be android 5.0 issue though.

holly cow, that's impressive,ive seen vids of hi end smart phone would could make it playable...  it must be the apk version of the emulator messing up the sound...just play music with it or something,  play using a controller, x360 controllers are compatible with android natively 

knowing nvidia they must have pushed the 3d specs of the shield to the max ...

ugh, it never got up to 60fps but it was above psp normal speed of 30fps


dragonball tenkaichi tag was better, sound and all worked perfectly.

i did not use a controller though didn't have an adapter to use it with. getting one sometime today.

i have to adpaters microusb>usb female they are soooo cheap on ebay, it's like 2$ dude

and it's awesome that it's playable at all, if what you say is true it's a great gaming experience then, you can play all the psp titles, better than the psp!  except for some sounds on some games and what not...
 i have my 2012 Nexus 7 ...it still holds up pretty well but it can't really play psp games though... the 2013 model could as it was much more powerful... and your tablet is considered the 2014 nexus 7 by many reviewers, so yea, you're good lol

nexus 9 uses tegra k1 too thats in shield tablet but google locked its opengl to be less than its capable of. shield tablet is tegra k1 fully unlocked. though nexus 9 uses 64bit version and dual core while shield tablet has 32bit and quad core.

there are some games i ran into problems but turn on auto frame skip made it run at full speed. ok only 1 sonic rivals ran slow and needed the auto frame skip.

dragonball tag vs runs flawlessly even with post processing effects on and on native resolution.
also the sound problem for gvgnp is only in battle.

got gvgnp running perfectly just had to play around with the settings. had to turn on frameskipping to 1.
