RIP Winz00e

it was good times but i feel trying to keep activity up is not worth it.  i will check here everyday, but if activity doesn't increase(for the other sections) i might make it weeks then make it months unitl i stop for good. basically, i am done creating new threads. i will post if someone start posting but thats it.

I tried my best just don't feel the effort is worth it anymore.

i think winz00e won't be able to come back with just content alone.  winz00e was originally windom modding site and it seems its still tied to it.  since windom modding is near dead winz can't comeback unless a new game comes out and we start modding it and putting stuff up on here and youtube.  i am not working on something new cause i refuse to do it alone without help.


edit:
thinking about starting a new forum for learning stuff. where others can learn from each other and share works.  it will be focused on digital content.
artwork, programming, modeling and etc.

you did your best mugen. i still have plans im just waiting for the opportunity to arise. uk isnt the game (nor similar types) to get our activity up. we need something new and different.

doesn't mean i am going, i am just going to be waiting for activity to rise alittle to comeback fully. i will be mostly lurking for awhile until that time.


well I do have something. but i don't know if its gonna work. great a educational section for learning how to do digital works like games, 3d models, and artwork. or something like that where other can learn from each other.

oh hell yea, we could become like a school and while teaching getting better ourselves .. and maybe make tutorials vids and topics and all...

we'd need to build an audience for that ..humm this place can be kickass if well turned around

i don't need cheering up. i am good.  

just got smash bros melee running full speed on small stages on my shield tablet. soon to test brawl which has been proven to run full speed.

oh, small stages play perfectly and non animated ones but stages like in the vid are cpu extensive.

You can always expand to facebook. If u wish, just keep telling the people about winz00e. I'm sure the Akatsuki group will listen and others.
I agree that winz00e should need a new better game to mod. Hell there's that original engine idea.

are best bet is custom game through a game engine and try to add as much modding as we can. custom engine is more work.

but the issue with the custom engine is that we need more people to work on it besides just one person. i think the more people working on the game, the more popularity it will bring.

i dont blame you for quitting, i wouldve helped you out but im not a good coder and wouldnt be much help. but if people like the pro ani coders were able to give you a helping hand then it wouldnt be too faustrating since there are also others to give you support

EB, my problem isn't coding but getting assets like models and animations.

i can code to the point where the coding is universal and can be ported to any mech.  also i need users to be using textures and not material paint.  its possible to convert that material paint into a texture not hard.

yep, another coder might help too. but not needed.  I might see if rel can ask lightningdragon if he will help with some stuff. mainly the aiming for the arms. but thats for when we get enough people onboard to start something.
 
i have model loading code done. also loading from ogre mesh xml files is possible too.

well, to be honest, helly and i almost started to have a game going in development.  we failed cause of design problems.

i have an idea but M won't like it. we team up with amecha to create something. the team up would mean the game is released both here and at amecha. it would benefit us both. possibly raise activity of both forums. or end up killing 1 or the other forum.

Amecha is on the same boat as Winz00e. All the modders are gone.
Only other posters are just the casual speakers. This has Rockfire even contemplating to just pull the plug. It's saddening really.
