stop everything you're doing... i quit, i suck at this XD 

this is ridiculous...  it takes way to long to create a few animation... i didnt redraw anything just "messed" with the perspective, surely it would have been better if i had redrawn the parts to position them better...

ill give it another shot tomorrow... this is too depressing, ill redraw something a little more simpler and animate it better, not using photoshop like i just did... i hate ps

yea i'll post my progress on this and tell you how comfortable or not im getting with this, i see how animation works and all, it can be interesting, but i gotta learn my part before anything else...

i'll start with hovering as you said, walking is kinda tough for a beginner like meh, i can see the beam animation beam really easy so no prob there, hovering is doable so lets go for that

where to begin... i did za sprite in 5 sec? i only wanted to test the walking animation on photoshop?

here's a sprite i did in  4 minutes , again that's just for an animation test, nothing final, the final ,sprite will look amazing i swear

thanks, i swear you wont be disappointed we're gonna make this OUR projet and we can have any design we want, im just learning but i can do it i think..

we talk about a new game plus. i want to add a new game extreme which gets unlocked after beating new game plus.

new game plus has enemies with better AI.
new game extreme has everything new game plus has but if you get hit, it effects not only your health bar but you boost and/or sp will go down or lower. actually boost might get forced overheat, if overheating is enabled.

also want to add overheating when you boost goes down as an optional feature for difficulty. also hardened enemy optional feature which doubles the health of enemies to make them hard to fight. SP will have an option to be disabled too as a extra bonus diffculty too.

boost overheat, hardened enemies and disabling SP will all be optional stuff to add to gameplay for a challenge.

so we'll have new g +  and an Extreme mode for extra challange huh? maybe unlcok the Extrme mode at the same time as g+ ...the game will be long hopefully.
can we make an arena mode and a local vs mode? (in selected arena stage we'll make (similar to a smashbros stage i guess)

also can you use the X button (in the middle of the controller) of the xbox360 controller to transform?

you can't use the center button at all for in games on 360 controller. its a reserved button for stuff.

arena mode and local vs i was planning also.

i think we should switch to level selection when you beat a level you unlock plus mode. beat it in plus mode and you unlock extreme mode.

level are unlock in order by beating previous level to it. as in you need to beat level 1 to play 2 and beat level 2 to play level 3 so on....

MOTHERFUCKING UNITY IS FUCKING NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. SOME UPDATE BROKE GETCOMPONENT..................................................FUCK IT.................

not quiting might hold off until a fix comes along or switch engines.

can you make it so you can come back to previous level if you want and grind some more? the game is gonna be rpg right? (aka level up of stats like speed, boost quantity, attack, weapon found during exploration)

wh...whuuuut.... what the hell is happenin on your side of the earth bro? can you use...another tool? is unity broken forever or is it just hickups? cause if so you just need to save your work frequently right?
just download a downgrade version right? get it on torrents or something...

i didnt know what it was apparently its a pretty big thing like the big devs are using? if you download an older version of unity or something won't it fix the prob? idk, just take a break maybe...  the project is gonna take time anyway, i'll need monthes to do all the animations of all the mechs and leanr how to make one walk properly and all... lol

focus on getting a full mech done. then move to others. plus there are enemies to do.

here is my plan on what you should do.

get 1 mech fully done.
get a couple enemies 2-3 done. they don't need alot of animations.
well might need small stuff like a tileset done and small items like upgrades.
after those are done you should be ok to do anything you want towards the game.

yea i agree, for now im still focusing on deisgns, mech design will decide if the game will appeal or not so if we want to be millionaires like the minecraft creators ... im kidding but i need to practise and get he designs done firs,t than hope on to what you said and then do the maps... those will be interesting i think, i want BIG maps, ...again, like a castlevania, let's say 1 level is like 1/4 of a catlevania map.
