should i use windoms mechs to test my game.

well, getting opinion. i really don't want to. getting original mechs in is what i rather do. though i hate modeling mechs. i do better with humans.

yes god damnit, you want this to take FOREVER?  get the steps right, fix your shit, once the damn windoms are flyin we find you the best 3D modelers on the face of this planet.
i told you since day 1!  don't slow your work cause of modeling, that's just the cover of the book, the final step.

Yes. If the engine not works as it should work, there is no point to make models. Test it with a Windom, and if it works you can start making the original characters.

its being made in unity. i have an idea how to give modding to unity games.

The Unity is very flexible engine, and there are already some mech based project showcase like Armed Core Vengeance Day. Here is the game, maybe you see soemthing useful in it. Download link is in the description.

guess i have to piece them together in blender.

i am stopping SV for this game. seems SV is not gaining much footing and a fresh series similar but with new stuff is probably whats needed.

they finally added a feature i wanted. you can switch out your assist characters now with main controlled one.  as for rest it feels the same as full burst.

oh yea, i forgot there was 2 storm 3... you got me confused with gundam lol, actually i did play full burst cause that was the only pc release of the 3rd.

i am having issues with getting a mech. so decided to wait until rel can get me one of his thats properly setup.

i am moving on to a different project but should be using similar code so when time comes i can recycle the code i use for this other game.

i tried drawing a mech. failed. i am better with organic stuff than mechanical.

Oh I see. The truth is that: me too. I never was able to draw even a straight sword.

But no one say a mech must looks like a samurai made from cubes. I think you already seen the Evangelion, that has organic mechs, basically cybernetic titans.Madou Ou Granzort and Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru has an unique concept of mechs too. Let your imagination fly.

build some plamo to get that blocky info in your head, then use an actual ruler to shape your mechs, stop thinking with curves, the curves come to smooth out some of the angle later on
