Seiyu management office Aoni Production has announced on the official website that Honda Chieko passed away due to multiple cancer on February 18th. She was 49 years old. She played Ple and Ple Two in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.

My heart is completely broken.

R.I.P for she.

Honda Chieko is an Anime voice actor with a very vast history, most famous for being Puru and Puru-II from Gundam ZZ.
Other characters she dubbed includes Ennil from Gundam X, Misako from Yuyu Hakusho, Tenshi in Grenaider, Amu from L-Gaim, and so on. I believe she even appeared in a couple concerts as well.
Needless to say, she was one of my favorite voice actors and in all honesty I'm saddened knowing that Cancer claimed another victim, Esp. One that I hoped to meet in person one day.
