Just wondering... PC related question...
I bought a EVGA GT630(Graphics card link) but the ports are DVI-I
I was wondering what VGA to DVI adaptor/converter to use? a 18-pin or 24-pin?

I use 24 pin for my AMD Radeon. Seems to work rather well.

I have the same as well, but it doesn't work...
but the 18 pins the ones the technicians we're using worked...
I'm kinda wondering if I should remove the pins to make mines an 18-pin
But I'm worried it would mess it up...

Re: Just wondering... PC related question...
the graphics card worked on the shop and the place where I bought my graphics card...
cuz I think its my adapter that's not working...
mines I think is a DVI-I Dual-Link
and the ones that worked is probably a DVI-I Single-Link, but I'm not reaaaaaaaaally sure cuz I don't want to screw this one up...

Re: Just wondering... PC related question...
If you guys are using VGA to DVI on your graphics...
can you tell me if its a 24-pin or 18-pin?
an 18-pin doesn't have the 6 pins in the middle.....
