Need an awesome MineCraft server?

I found a good place that doesnt have too many people but many dont get on frequently so i need your help to make it come alive!

the lag is on your end, with your crappy net. like you would know. changing maps, doesn't have to happen, i can stick to one.

There is one called ultranumb with alot of people.
I tried to start a server but my outdated router can't host any game ip addresses T-T
I tried to but no dice. If we can start our own private server that would be great, though we would need to get funds in order to get a massive domain or use a site that was something like no-ip.com
I made one but im just too lazy to actually make the server xD.
(If we want a 24/7 server we would need to buy one unless someone leaves their comp on all night and day)

hosted a server before, used a vpn like hamachi or comodo.

That would be useful, if you can, can you do it?

it won't be 24/7 just when you want to play with the guys.

that was when i had my old crappy net, remember i switched after to a better/faster service

plus last time we played we were using mods. this time i am keeping it vanilla or bukkit.(already have the stuff ready fyi)

comodo, tunngle, or something else.
evolve(i have MC issues with this) and hamachi(age has issues with this one) are out of the question

well, i can use evolve but I have to run minecraft from my laptop to access the server. something with MC and evolve on my desktop just breaks things. the server seems to work though when evolve is running.

that or we ditch someone.....
