Black Friday Sales 2014

though i create this thread for those who are buying or want to talk about the sales.


currently i bought shadow of mordor for 33.49$ and naruto: ninja storm 3 full burst for 7.49$. there were other games that peaked my interest too but not worth currently cause they are on sale through out the black friday sale days.

SoM is kinda boring after a while, dos damn orks get annoying lol, but it's a fun one, well worth it if you play it in short bursts


i just recieved Dynasrty warriors gundam 3 in the mail...i had already pre paid all the DLC for it, and damn those dlc units rock.


also, why did you pay for naruto, didn't you already play it on pc? what's the point? it seems you're just trowing money by the window for the heck of it...  just sayin, i played naruto FB on pc and even online with steam cracks... heck it's faster and as easy as getting it for steam 

plus there are always torrents, i DON't see the point in BUYING a digital version. it's a rip off in every way possible.  just sayin, i bought Shogun2 on steam, don't play it anymore, and i can't sell it now...  so yea

i buy most my games cause steam is faster with downloads no matter what the game. and don't mind give the company money if they produce new games that are good. if the game has bad rating i would wait until its has less than 10$ to buy. as for buying naruto: FB even if its a rip off if its goes under 10 dollars i will buy it, wasn't worth it at full price and i enjoyed playing it compared to Naruto: revolution. i buy games mostly when they are on sale to get them cheaper.


shadow of mordor got good ratings and it plays like assassins creed series which i enjoyed.  i did torrent but then deleted it after playing 10 mins of it. didn't hate liked it to the point it was worth paying for.

also planning to get dragon age: inquisition maybe later.

also if everyone torrented the makers of the games wouldn't be able to create new games.

i see, testing the game out is definitely legit, some companies do put out demos and what not, but yea.

there is also another thing that bugs me, i'm fine with buying a ps3 game physically, cause at least i get something like a case, disc and manual , i can lend it and re sell it, but on the other hand buying digitally is awful, you're just paying for a "right" to download something, and "they" got control over it, once your account is down for whatever reason, you'll lose everything. 

so yea, i hate drm, and i hate digital. they should GIVE US the digital version when we buy the disc (maybe with a one time code or something) but a digital version alone is worthless, it feels im getting ripped of paying for copyrights or something.  this is why i fight against it.(i don't mean for the disc to be an installation disc, but rather a real alternative to play the game fully.) 

i'll never buy another pc game that's just an "installation disc" with a code.

digital version let's say for ps3, offer shorter loading times, no bluray drive usage (longer longevity of the system) and thus no noise from it and every game easily selectable on the XMB... but even then, is it worth it?

plus the physical copies are sometimes up to 3 times cheaper than the digital game when bought used. the japanese prices in the japanases PSN are MAD. lol
so yea, just sayin, think about what you really get for your buck.

i do have physical copies of some games but they are mostly older games. newer game are tied to digital stores for pc so i see no point in having physical copy. only bright side to having the physical copy is less load times but you still need to wait for updates or digital only contents like dlc.

or they should do what valve did for portal 2 on ps3. give you pc version too.

hik...what th... you bought the US version of DWG reborns?! Why in the world? you know that : just like DWG 3 they removed the japanese/copyrighted song material from the JP version! why didn't you go for the original copy of the game?

heck i just bought the JP ver of DWG 3 and got it today; can't complain lol 
i know everyone can't do that but for those of us who actualy read japanese, it's a must...darou?

also, as i mentioned previously, the companies do this to get more control over us, it's no conspiracy theory, just basic capitalism. you'll buy more, sell less, people will buy more, at better prices: for them.win win, (for them)

i'm all for supporting a dev, especially small studios like Koei (kinda small lol) and Artdink (macross games)  but when they pull dirty stuff like a bunch of 5$ DLC units... i just wanna eat my pants raw. gaming has gotten worst so fast! companies weren't as greedy before, or at the very least they didn't show it or didn't have the means to be so.

now it's like: Dlc there(*stares at bandai's EXvS dlc*), expension there, expensive digital versions for outdated games, blabla...

i don't know where to begin to facepalm nowadays...id have no more face to palm myself into if i started

how ar u gonna play the oncoming PS4 GUndam game? all gundam games are on sony's... you can still get warriors orochi 3 ultimate for the xbox one but still...

Xbox one has became a really good console since to all the crap they've been receiving and all, i think it's a great hardware now

i still have the ps4 dude, never will i get rid of it. i need to play all the gundam games i can on there!

i don't have either ps4 or xbone and not planning on getting them soon. cause i have a feeling alot of the xbox games will be ported to pc eventually. as for ps4 no good games interest me. i am more likely to get a wii u, there is a good number of games that interest me on it.

i am waiting for the wii u to drop in price to get it. plus the 1 game i really want to play on it isn't out yet. so not worth getting it now.

what's the point of having both? the exclusives on microsoft's Xbox are gonna be released for microsoft's windows platform as well XD 

well, if one breaks i guess you got another console left...i guess you're covered

xbox doesnt interest meh, but ps4 is bound to have all the japanese exclusive... i wouldnt buy a console now, id wait and get the latest fix slim version of it, and make sure the games i want are good and released...hence me getting a ps3 so damn late

oohhh k. i liked 358/2days, but that's mostly nostalgia, kingdom hearts in general has WAY to many STUPID fanboys on it, it's just a poor action rpg with crappy disney on it...  the thing i love about the game: the gfx style, roxas and organization XIII... and mostly; the amazing music. also BBS intro cut-scene was epic...but that's it.


so yea lol. the HD remix is just an excuse to play BBS on the hd screen easier... (*cough*ppsspp*cough*)   

their dragging the series on, which has potential, remove all the disney, add more sad songs and more customization and upgrades, replace toons with badass looking enemies and voilà!   just my 2 cent

im not rich just being smart lol, the only reason i got the xbox one was because i got it for a really good price, i also traded in my old xbox 360 since i was going to get credited at the microsoft store for $100. then the xbox one went on sale on black friday for 329. so really, i got my xbox one with assassin's creed unity, black flag, and the new halo master chief collection for 229 plus tax. if i didnt get this deal, i was not getting an xbox one.

sweet deal indeed. i heard ac unity played best on xbox for some reason

so far most of my friends were telling me when it was launched, it was pretty broken but as far as i am in the game, it didnt seem to broken (but they did fix the game before i got it)
