welp, been working the past week on stuff for a game here is a glimpse of the progress.

incomplete editor - all it does is import obj files so far but it should be done in the next month.

no gameplay yet to show. but when we have gameplay we will show it.

about the game:
this is to be like gundam breaker for the pc except kind of like what windoms group is doing as in gundam like units without being gundams. this will have mod support or as i call it user created content but its going to be offline only(just the mods).
reason for this is to prevent conflicts with other players.

team members:
Infinitasimpetum
Dusty/helldiver450/BAKAMAN
Flowrellik


engine: Unity 4.2

Price: under 20$ (yes, we are planning to sell it or try too)

we might recruit more if needed but for now the core stuff is being worked on. so more help isn't needed yet.
we are using free or legal programs to make this.

just to prove its working.

Hmm...from what i can gather it looks good.

Progress seems nice, gj so far :)

game on hold we are changing to doing something easier. we are now going to be doing something like windom with precreated mechs. but with style ranging from old school mechs to the newer style seen in today shows.

we will comeback to the customize system later, it needs alot of work to be finish.

you could try something like gundam breakers. so it can go online even with custom stuff, could take a while though...

uhm.....if you seen what i got so far in that editor its possible to make one....except i need one thing to be written the damn multi tint mask shader.

plus that editor only handles models attaching to bones/objects so far (arms,legs, main body, and head), not the booter effects, beam effect.....weapon models/attaching...etc



the team i am working with, we decided to go easy and do a game that mixes all kinds of mechs from variety of styles ranging from old school style mechs to the new kinds you see today.

not 10 years......more like 3 - 6 months to get the system built (maybe less then that, considering how far i am in the editor). plus the code for that editor is very adaptable can be use to make a moddable game in unity. even though i have one more thing to add plus that shader. actually that shader is only needed for a gundam breaker like game where you can change the color scheme.
