manga, whats the difference between SAI and Manga Studio? =/

Manga Studio is designed for Manga, up to and including the very basics of what manga and comics have. Paint Tool Sai is basically like Photoshop but with the additional function to rotate your art freely to make easier more professional lines and a couple unique brushes.
Kinda depends how you use them really, and yes I have both programs.

difference i can talk about since i use both (while casval owns them in his hard drive...big difference...)

Sai is a light and easy to use tool for more basic coloring, a lot of people use it for japanese style/anime coloring, it's good for a few effects and has some nice brushes here and there that are customizable... but i would recommend COREL painter over SAI if you aim higher levels of artwork.

The latest version of manga studio EX (5.02, 5.03)  is known in japan as Clip Studio Paint EX, the company making this actually changed the name in japan but not in US,...  it's actually a new software in which they redid all the architecture and made everything much more powerful than it ever was. it's the modern Japanese Photoshop if you will.  it has some nice editing effects as well as powerful coloring tools. what's best about it? the brushes...way better sketching and inking capabilities than photoshop, in which you need to configure everything to get a "similar" result.

my PC can't handle Adobe CS suit so i'm using Clip Paint stuido ex as the alternative for now...

Good to know and yes I used the programs too in the past. I have a copy of paint tool Sai along with Manga Studio 4. Hearing about Clip Studio Paint EX intrigues me though.

what good is it ? lol, you can have all the soft in the world along with all wacom products it's pointless if you can't do crap with it... and...well...since you can't do crap with anything other than 3d...... ...i don't see the point  XD

even in 3d rel can't do much. he can't manage his vertices for crap and his models turn too high-poly and not game worthy. XD
