awesome wall mugen! eureka sever was great!

here's mine: yes it might seem basic with JUST a wallpaper but it's actually a windows7 optimized for very fast boots and fast browsing, i disabled most of "blingbling stuff" and search indexes that were useless... i got a fast win7 and an ok looking one on top of it desktop screenshot - Page 17 Sans_t11

i usually wear glasses...but having big icons is a way to make it easier on the eyes for me XD

Nice! I also plan on playing with Rainmeter once I finish building my PC. I've never heard of emergedesktop. I was going to use RocketDock to replace taskbar. How do they compare?

rocketdock is a program and you have to hide the taskbar to give an effect that its gone.
while emerge replaces the default windows shell with a new one but leaves the default shell still intact so don't worry you can easily switch back. in simple terms removes the taskbar completely with something different and doesn't hide the taskbar. you have to play with emerge to really get it setup how you want it.

Spent the last 3 days building/install/failing/tweaking my new pc.. I had some fun with Rainmeter today and here's the result:

I set it to change background periodically, something my old Vista doesn't offer... hide

btw I made a copy of bgblank so I can have it on the bottom screen. You might want to tweak the size as it's fixed for my resolution (width 1050).
