Need help with windom mod. XP

So, yeah, for once I'm going to try making/create a mecha for Windom XP.xD
Though, I don't know where I start learning how to make one, mind filling me guys in?

first you want to know what are you going to make then model it if needed or modify existing material to get the results your looking for. my advice start with something simple and just modify an existing mechs to get a feel for it.

here is some tools used to get access to windoms xp models.

Modders use DE and another modeling program to make there modifications.
some of the more experience modders can better help you.
never created my own mods, i just understand a few things on how they work.
